Denver delivers Maximo Enterprise Asset Management success for BP

The Denver team has successfully completed a Maximo upgrade project for BP at their Toledo refinery - taking them from version 4.1 to version 7.6 - on time and within budget.

As a worldwide energy leader, BP provides fuel and energy for their customers’ everyday life. The BP refinery at Toledo in the United States processes up to 160,000 barrels of crude oil per day and provides the Midwestern United States with gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, propane and asphalt.

BP had reached a point at which a successful upgrade was critical to the Toledo refinery’s continued operation. Remaining focused on addressing the business challenges and opportunities facing the refinery, Denver was able to complete the project on time and within budget. “Denver had already established trust and credibility by delivering consistently for BP over 30 years in a no-fuss manner,” says Paul Phelan, Senior Project Manager at Denver. “For this specific project, we adopted an holistic approach to manage an array of vendors and stakeholders within the business and deliver a successful outcome for BP.
